Precious Moments Chapel & Gift Shoppe

Called the “American Sistine Chapel,” the walls of this attraction are covered with murals featuring the wide-eyed, angelic characters of artist Samuel J. Butcher. Founded in 1989, the chapel contains 84 hand-painted murals and 30 stained glass works, all crafted by Butcher himself, which retell treasured Bible stories. 
Butcher created the chapel as a way of saying “thanks” to God for everything good in his life. In 2015, Timmy’s Tower was added to the Precious Moments complex as a tribute to Butcher’s late son. Collectors of Precious Moments® figurines will enjoy browsing at the world’s largest Precious Moments Gift Shoppe here, which features the current collection as well as the Archive Collection and Christmas Shoppe.
