Mother Road Mayhem

Mother Road Mayhem is one of the biggest automotive events in southwest Missouri, bringing together lifted trucks, lowered rides, Jeeps, cars, SXS vehicles, vendors, burnout competitions, music, and thousands of spectators in Joplin. The 2026 event marks its 6th annual show and is expected to be the biggest one yet.
The event takes place May 15–17, 2026 at the old Route 66 Speedway property in Joplin, right along historic U.S. Route 66. Organizers describe it as Missouri’s largest lifted and lowered truck, car, Jeep, and SXS show.
Some of the biggest attractions planned for 2026 include:
A massive burnout competition with $8,500 in payouts
Friday night pre-party activities
Monster truck rides
Stunt bike shows
Vendor booths and custom builds
Cornhole tournaments
Bounce houses and family attractions
Dry camping and RV camping on-site
DJs and live entertainment throughout the weekend
