Midweek Movie nights at Royale Cinema Lounge is a weekly film club curated by Jake Bennett. It’s open to the public and showings can be found listed in their weekly calendar update and on Facebook.

The Maple Leaf Bicycle Tour is an annual event hosted by the Joplin Trails Coalition.

This event features 19, 26, 68, and 100-mile routes through scenic Jasper County.

This event includes rest stops and full sag support. Rest stops include Jasper City Park, Keltoi Winery, Christine's Vineyard, Beard Engine Brewing Company, and Red Oak II.

Preschool Connections: Pumpkins!!!

For ages 3 – 7 accompanied by an adult

Join “Preschool Connections: Pumpkins.” At this month’s Preschool Connections, kids will learn about pumpkins in various shapes and sizes—round, squat, tall, and even a few delightfully lumpy ones. The preschool class will dive into the world of pumpkins, an engaging topic that blends art, science, storytelling, and sensory play. The children will gather on a cozy rug as Ms. Vicki introduces the storybook “Spooky, the Square Pumpkin.” The class will include decorating their own pumpkin to take home. The CDRA Team Finals at Mo-Kan Dragway brings 300+ racers from around the Midwest as they compete in four different categories of racing. This unique event allows racers to represent their home track and collect team points, with the winning team getting bragging rights for the following year.

The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, the UK’s premier all-male theatre company, brings Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to life in the open air with Elizabethan costumes, music, and dance. This vibrant production features love, mistaken identities, and riotous comedy, offering audiences an authentic Shakespearean experience under the stars. Touring extensively throughout the UK and beyond, the company is renowned for its accessible, high-quality productions that honor the legacy of the world’s greatest playwright.
