NEEF's National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Established in 1994 and held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, this celebration brings out thousands of volunteers to help restore and improve public lands around the country.
For NPLD 2021, we'll maintain and build on the theme of "More Ways to Connect to Nature." Join the George Washington Carver National Monument team of volunteers and help plant trees and native flowers, maintain trails, weed and mulch landscaped areas, and enjoy the beautiful woodlands and prairie at the park. Please call the park at 417-325-4151 for more information.
