Iris Garden Tour

Celebrate Joplin’s Sesquicentennial colorfully.
The Joplin Celebrations Commission is hosting a city-wide Iris Gardens Tour on Saturday, May 13, 2023 -- an official event for Joplin’s 150th birthday celebrations.
The Iris is the official city flower of Joplin.
A map will be available showing locations where Irises can be seen throughout the city. Beds and gardens will be visible from the street or sidewalk. Please be respectful of private property and no picking of flowers.
The self-paced tour will be held the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will start from the Joplin History & Mineral Museum.
