Breadcrumbs by Jennifer Haley

Joplin Little Theatre and the Area Agency on Aging Region X are collaborating to present Breadcrumbs by Jennifer Haley. The play will be directed by Dr. John Green.

Alida will be played by Diane Martinous.

Beth/Mother will be played by Ashley Trotnic.

A reclusive fiction writer diagnosed with dementia must depend upon a troubled young caretaker to complete her autobiography. In a symbiotic battle of wills, they delve into the dark woods of the past, unearthing a tragedy that shatters their notions of language, loneliness, and essential self. The production is hoping to raise awareness of dementia, relying on a caregiver, and the struggles both experience.

This is a fundraiser for both organizations.

VIP tickets are $125 and include a reception at 6:00 p.m. with drinks and hors d'oevres followed by the 7:00 p.m. performance.

General admission tickets are $100 and include the 7:00 p.m. performance only.
